Nissan BladeGlider
Nissan, the biggest name in automobile industry for its adventure and classy collection. In this series, Nissan introduce with a sporty electric vehicle. Nissan Blade Glider would help to reach a market of male drivers who still want performance and styling in an environment-friendly car. Delta Wing race car has struggled along for the past few years, searching for a nice demonstrative fuel-saving attributes. No automaker has embraced its design more than Nissan, which has hired the Delta Wing's designer for its own experimental race cars. Today, Nissan revealed it's considering ways to make a wing-shaped electric sports car more than a track toy.

Company manager of Nissan says that three-seat Blade Glider concept combines "both a proposal for the future direction of Nissan electric vehicle development and an exploratory prototype of an upcoming production vehicle." Built from a carbon-fiber frame, the meter-wide front performs the same trick as the Delta Wing reducing aerodynamic drag to unheard-of levels for greater efficiency, while allowing the rest of the body to generate down force for better grip. The car features an aerodynamic design that widens from the front to back with space for a driver in the middle and two passengers in the rear. "The driver's seat has been positioned in the middle of the vehicle to give a sense of a pilot in an airborne glider," Nissan said.
In this version, Nissan says the Blade Glider would draw power from in-hub electric motors at each rear wheel, an idea that's been floating around the industry for more than a decade. Nissan doesn't specify what kind of power or performance it would grant the Blade Glider, touting instead a driving experience that would emulate flying a jet along the road. That concept never made it to production, despite Nissan's billion-dollar commitment to the Leaf EV, it's been reluctant to step beyond the safety of commuter electric cars. The question isn't whether Nissan could put something this radical on the road, buy why it wouldn't.

Hyundai i10 Series Stopped Forever

Hyundai i10
Hyundai i10 is a sporty and stylish car produced by the South Korean manufacturer giant Hyundai since 2007. It replaced the Hyundai Atos in the model line-up and has been available only with a five-door hatchback body style. Hyundai launched the Grand i10 in India, which has received an outstanding response from the buyers across the nation. Now, the company has stopped selling the i10 hatchback. Moreover, it has also discontinued the two top end variants - the Sportz and Asta. The second generation of the car was presented in August 2013 and is planned for release in early 2014. A slightly larger version, developed for the Indian market, will also be released in September 2013, as the Grand i10. The i10 has a large gaping air-dam, pulled-back headlamps, chrome-lined grill, integrated clear lens fog lamps, a bonnet that has a clam shell hint and a rear window with an upswept kink. The tailgate has a chrome-lined boot-release handle and an integrated roof spoiler on the top- end versions.

This has helped the company to create some space between the prices of Grand i10 and top end variants of i10, as the price gap between these models was quite narrow. Hyundai recently hiked the prices of its entire model range except Grand i10, which further narrowed the gap between the top end i10 models and Grand. The Hyundai i10 is now available in two variants - the Era and Magna, and are powered by the 1.1-litre iRDE engine. This discontinuation of the top end variants has also removed the automatic transmission option in the i10 lineups. The company will soon going to launch an automatic transmission version of Grand i10 in India.

All variants of the i10 powered by the 1.2 litre DOHC Kappa2 engine with variable valve timing have been discontinued, the automatic version of Hyundai i10 which was also powered by the 1.2 motor has bitten the dust too. At this point Hyundai does not have any compact automatic hatchbacks, but an automatic gearbox for the Grand i10 is on the cards. This would be a good time to crack a good deal on one of the higer-end trims of the i10 that are to be discontinued as the powertrain will continue to live on in the Grand i10 and spare parts are easily available for the i10.

It is the first time in India, when any company return their products and manufacture them for free due to preference of customer's satisfaction. According to the latest update Ford India has announced a recall of 1,66,021 units of its largest selling compact Figo and Classic sedan to rectify problems related to steering and rear suspension. This activity of ford company is representing their moral values towards customers. Nowadays, Ford is increasing their status and level throughout all over India. Impact of recall is good for customers on different batches of Figo and Classic models which manufactured between January 2010 and June 2012. According to the information 1,09,469 units of Ford Figo and 22,453 Ford Classic produced and sold from January 2011 until June 2012 and will need to be inspected, but will not necessarily need part replacements.

Ford India said that a potential crack in the RTB first manifests itself in the form of an abnormal noise from the rear. If the vehicle is continuously driven and the noise symptoms are ignored, it could lead to the RTB unit breaking, resulting in diminished ride and handling and break performance potentially rendering the vehicle inoperable. In the case of the PAS Hose issue, the company said, "there was a potential for development of an oil leak, which could result in potential fumes being emitted from the area causing the leak. It may also be possible for power steering fluid to come in to contact with the vehicle's exhaust components creating smoke and in extreme cases, fire occurs". This is the biggest vehicle recall since industry body SIAM had introduced a voluntary recall in July last year.
